    Mini-surgery and Phlebectomy

Mini-surgery and Phlebectomy are intended for the atraumatic removal of varicose veins. Tiny incisions (3 to 5 mm) are made with a special micro scalpel with wich no big cuts can be made accidently. By using the spatula-end of the Phlebextractor veins are loosened in each direction. Thereafter the instrument is turned around, and with the hook the vein is pulled out. With fingers can imprinted the skin in order to better find and feel the vein. The loosened vein is grasped with the Mini-mosquito forceps. Having the vein pulled out a second incision is made 5 to 15 cm from the first incision. Now the other end of the vein is loosened and the whole vein section can be removed. After surgery, the leg is wrapped and about an hour, the patient can leave the hospital. It is walking in the operating room and comes out as. Control is sometimes recommended. You can combine this atraumatic method with other methods such as sclerotherapy or laser therapy.
